Wind Direct is part of the Wind Prospect Group, which has been developing renewable energy projects since the early 1990s. Given this relationship, Wind Direct offers clients the expertise of its own experienced development team, and also the backing of specialist knowledge from offices across ten countries worldwide.

Since the energisation of Wind Direct's first site at Longhill Road in 2005 the company has installed further wind turbines on sites at Solutia Chemicals, Dewlay Cheese and Eastman Chemicals - and continues to strive for a development target of 100MW of on-site generation capacity installed.

Each project seeks to bring about sustainability for businesses, providing them with low cost green energy and ensuring that they are able to reduce their energy bills.
